A mystery hybrid finds herself in the forest. She doesn't know how she got there, who she is, or where she came from. Then, to make life more confusing, she was almost captured by a man with a dragon tattoo, crash landing during flight and knocking herself unconscious. She then awoke to find herself in a tiny jail cell, meeting her neighbor Flame, who gave her the name of Flare. They together witnessed the murder of another hybrid, later being rescued by WINGS, a hybrid rescuing and protecting group, the only one known to exist. Certain memories begin to return to Flare's mind, but she still can't figure out who she is. She and Flame join WINGS, walking straight into a mess of danger. Then she falls for Dan, and all hell breaks loose.
