Leo Alexander Torejas, a soccer/football player, sits on an unfamiliar bench on campus, staring at strange marks that seem to form a coded message. He tries to decipher them, but it's only after some time that he meets the person behind the mysterious markings-Aiden Gil Lorenzo, a member of the university's basketball team and the friend of Leo's older brother, Karl Elliot Torejas. Leo, who has been clinically diagnosed with bipolar disorder, struggles with extreme anxiety and finds it difficult to socialize. However, against all odds, he begins to form a friendship with Aiden, a natural social butterfly.
