Dimitri Aleksandr, AKA Mark Matthews, a notorious international serial killer known as the Masked Butcher, is on the run after murdering over 500 people across more than 100 countries. Dimitri justifies his killings with a personal code that was created by his father, US Ambassador in Russia, Elijah Matthews: to hunt down those he deems/names "Unforgivable," and the "Higher-Ups" from ordinary people committing sins to powerful individuals in government, crime syndicates, and celebrities. His twisted upbringing-marked by the early and brutal death of his mother, his dark, mysterious past, and bullying of his dark desires, though a part of him still seeks love and understanding.

After settling in Detroit with his sister and brother, Dimitri makes a risky move, infiltrating the Detroit Police Department's Homicidal Department as a crime scene technician. Here, he continues his brutal crusade, using his position to cover his tracks while eliminating those he believes are tainted by sin. As the Masked Butcher's killing spree intensifies, the FBI, CIA, and police across the globe tighten their pursuit, unaware of his true identity.

Meanwhile, a new mystery emerges: a secretive serial killer, dubbed "The Archivist," begins leaving a trail of dead bodies. Bound by his code, Dimitri becomes obsessed with finding this new killer. Partnering with law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and Detroit Police, he works to uncover the Archivist's identity, all the while continuing his reign of terror.

The story follows Dimitri's dark journey as he navigates his twisted moral code, evades capture, and plays a deadly cat-and-mouse game with those hunting him. Will he ever find peace, or is he destined to remain the Masked Butcher forever?
