This is a fan fiction set in the Assassin's Creed universe -

Giovanni Pellegrini, a lone child in 1511 Venice, was tragically orphaned by his mother's untimely demise due to tuberculosis. His only inheritance from her was a struggling art shop filled with subpar paintings, a dagger, and a mysterious diary.
Throughout his short life, he had never questioned the absence of his father or the secrets his mother kept about his ancestry.
Driven by a desperate need for answers, three years after his mother's passing (1514), Giovanni resolves to delve into the diary she left behind. His quest takes him on a journey through a corrupt and blindly faithful society, seeking to unravel the mysteries of his existence.
