I Can't Be With You

Rhiana Cassandra P. Mercado is a Detective Lieutenant. Even though she doesn't know who killed her wife and child, she made a promise to herself that she would find out. She spent five years searching, but not once did she find a clue. The only thing she knew about the killer was that the murders happened on clear days-when the weather was calm, not too hot, not rainy, and the wind felt fresh. The day was always beautiful. But unlike the weather, her life turned out the opposite-tragic and full of regret.

Her mind was consumed with guilt. She blamed no one else but herself for the deaths of her wife and child.

Suddenly, she found herself smiling again-doing things she hadn't done in the past five years. And all because of a woman named Saffarah Elise S. Navarro. It felt like the walls she built over the past five years came crashing down because of her.

But how could she face the truth now... when the woman she had learned to love might actually be connected to the death of her family?
