When Sparks Collide - Felinette Miraculous Fanfiction

When Felix transfers to Marinette's school, she knows trouble has arrived. She doesn't trust him, doesn't like him, but she'll tolerate him. Between akuma attacks and class chaos, the last thing Marinette needs is someone new stirring the pot, on top of Lila and Chloe.
Even with her strong resolve to hate him, she finds herself warming up to him, as he proves to be entertaining company... Not that she'd be friends with him, of course. Not after the video, and the kiss incident when she was Ladybug.
When Felix starts standing up for her against Lila's lies, Marinette is more confused than grateful. What's his angle-and why does it feel like he's always one step ahead in whatever game he's constantly playing? Why does it feel like they're playing chess, and locked in a stalemate?
Is their difficult dynamic simply respect, or something more?

This is my first fanfiction, so if you have any feedback, please let me know! All characters are aged up to 11th grade, and it's only canon until the end of season 3. This is an enemies to lovers fic :)
