Bucky has been in Hydra for 50 years doing whatever dirty job they had for the Winter Soldier to do. He already has no idea of time or his age, he gave up counting. He is hopeless, wishing he gets sent for a mission and dies there- not that the Winter Soldier would be so stupid.
