Shadows of Yesterday

Livia, a twelve-year-old girl, has lived through the torment of abuse at the hands of her mother, whose death she discovers in a moment filled with both relief and an overwhelming sense of guilt. Plunged into depression, her world darkens further when she is taken in by her brothers, who are entangled in the dangerous world of the mafia. Initially, they harbor little affection for her, viewing her as an unwanted complication in their lives.

Living among shadows and secrets, Livia must navigate her grief, her mental health struggles, and the cold reception from her brothers. Yet, as time passes, this unlikely family begins to find common ground, forging bonds through shared adversity. Together, they explore the possibility that even in the heart of darkness, love and loyalty can grow, offering Livia a new beginning amidst the complexities of family and the mafia's unforgiving world.
