Patricia Monterde is a college student at Ateneo De Manila University. Even in high school, Patricia was bullied for her appearance, her hair, and her skin. However, she was born intelligent and a loving daughter.

She lost her father early in life due to a car accident, leaving Patricia, her mother, and her younger brother Austin, currently in high school, to navigate a life filled with sadness.

Patricia became the breadwinner of the family, working nights and studying mornings and afternoons.

She dreamed of finding a man who would accept her for who she was. Fate intervened, and she met Lukas Frost, the man who would make her heart beat again and awaken her dormant emotions.
