Rich CEO Brad Thompson revolutionizes Yu-Gi-Oh by helping facilitate the spread an westernized variation of rush duel to the west, known as breaking duels, and as a result has made Yu-gi-oh much bigger than it ever has been in years. It's used for and especially to settle friendly squabbles, business deals, even in politics...
But as a result, a magical realm known as the duel monsters spirit realm has become more prevalent in it's presence, and is so ever looming.
Our protagonist does not know this however.
We see him, and many other characters unravel the truth of dealings happening, recurrent nightmares, and the power of a certain number of banned cards known as the Nine Circles. Will Brad be able to even stomach the truth?

Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's: The Reinvention of Leo (Yugioh Fanfic)

4 parts Ongoing

First Sayer, then Dark Signer Devack and now recently Lester, along with every other loss, failure, and general bad event he's had to deal with. Leo is just down on his luck. Compared to others, he's not a great or even that good of a duelist, not having a real win to his name, despite his best efforts. He hasn't succeeded in anything remotely worthy, and compared to almost everyone, his twins sister Luna specifically, he knows. He's pretty much a joke. And what hurts the most is that he knows it. But when a misunderstanding with the popular new girl leads to yet another loss and on top of it public humiliation in school, it really drives him over the edge. Leo finds himself alone, and he doesn't know what to do or who to turn to. Join Leo in this fan story that aims to bring out a new side of Yu-Gi-Oh's greatest letdown of what, in other ways, is a really well-made character. I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh. All related characters and themes are owned by Konami and the late GOAT Kazuki Takahashi.
