Meera stumbled backward as Leo towered over her, the dim light casting sharp shadows across his face. His amber eyes burned with disdain, cutting through her like daggers.

"You really played your cards well, didn't you?" he said, his voice low but laced with venom.

Meera blinked, confused. "What are you talking about?"

"Don't act innocent," he snapped, throwing a set of papers onto the table between them. "This is what you wanted all along, isn't it? A shortcut to wealth and power. Congratulations, Meera. You caught my attention-but not in the way you hoped."

Her gaze flicked to the papers. Marriage Agreement. Her heart pounded as realization dawned.

"You think I'm-" she started, her voice trembling, but he cut her off.

"A gold digger," he finished coldly.

Tears pricked her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. "You don't know anything about me," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

"I know enough," he retorted, stepping closer. She backed away, shaking her head.

"This isn't right," she whispered.

Leo leaned in, his presence overwhelming. "Right? Don't lecture me on morals. You came to me for money. I'm just naming your price."

Her hands trembled as she picked up the pen, her mind racing. "Why are you doing this? If you think so low of me, why force this marriage?" he didnt respond for question

"Good girl," Leo said, straightening. His smile was as cold as his eyes. "From this moment on, you're mine. But remember, Meera, this isn't a fairytale. This is my story-and you're just playing a role."

"Congratulations, Mrs. Miller. You just sold your soul to the devil."
