Chuuya enters his house. Closing and locking the door behind him, pausing after he turns around because there is Dazai, standing in the doorway to his kitchen in nothing but a shirt Chuuya recognizes as his and his undergarments.
What draws his attention and makes his gaze linger, though, is when he realizes Dazai wasn't wearing his bandages (probably having expected Chuuya to be gone longer).
He knew the bandages weren't really for decoration, but he didn't think they were hiding this.
His feet are moving before he can think, and now he's standing in front of him.
He places his hands on him, so it isn't awkward, and so his partner wouldn't flee.
"I don't know why you feel like you have to do this to yourself..."

Or: Just Dazai breaking and entering Chuuya's home after harming himself because of the horrible month he'd been having, taking some shit and regressing some time after Chuuya gets home earlier than he thought he would. Cue comfort and Chuuya finally wanting to make things right, with the addition of heaps of fluff!

Chasing Strays (Soukoku- Dazai X Chuuya)
"Strays are messy and unkempt beings, I have no time for such creatures." The brown haired man spoke, his arm waving in dismissal. "Are you talking about animals, or yourself?" The ginger teased, a smile creeping slightly onto his face. - Chuuya, a well rounded individual who works multiple jobs to keep a living, meets a troubled brunette, Dazai. A man who no matter where he goes, somehow will find a way to pop up and cause him some trouble. Dazai can't help but drag the ginger into his life. (Or perhaps push his way into chuuya's.) Causing Chuuya to test how long it will take for him to have enough of Dazai and his trouble filled life. Though despite what he says, he secretly loves the trouble Dazai brings. The trouble that makes him feel human. And seeing Chuuya feel and act human, and seeing someone finally accept him, for him, sparks the feeling of being human in Dazai as well, a feeling he never knew was possible for his broken body. - All characters belong to their rightful owners!-Complete

After Dostoyevesky's death having Dazai nearly witnessing the death of all of his friends, he finally has an actual change in heart. Despite that, he's plagued with horrid nightmares of everyone dying and all because of him. As always he can't seem to get away from Chuuya either with him being the focal point of every nightmare and it did have an impact on him. Dazai realises he in fact holds strong feelings for the short ginger man. Naturally, of course when one side of double black changes so does the other. All this while trying to deal with 7 missing people and 6 missing families is a lot to juggle. Before the intro, I would like to shout out a friend. They requested the idea be made into a fic so here it is. Sunshine and rainbows, they say. When you're a child, it's easy to fold into the happiness of being a child. The world's weights don't exist for you. As we grow, we discover pain; Are we really discovering it, or have our eyes simply opened to pain? Their childhood is but a fuzzy memory, blocking away the mental pain. Even now, they can't quite remember if they had a family or if they were loved. Even as a port mafia executive, they don't have much. Their only true bond is with a boy who knows the betrayal within their heart. It should have been them, not the one who put the betrayal in their heart.
