Theo "Hawk" Hawkins as had a tough life. Found by Stridor, the leader of the Consortium Brotherhood, he's been trained from a young age to fight and to win. He's not fighting conventional foes, but demons loose on the city. His job is to bring back these beings so the Consortium can find out how to eliminate them for good. Or so he's been told.

Adriana Miller was a kid that was bounced around in the foster system. Used to fending for herself, she finds a niche in life as a librarian, specializing in Greek mythology and relics. One fateful night, she discovers she's so much more. With the help of her mentor, she tries to make sense of her new life. She has to protect the civilians around her from these Greek demons AND avoid her own demise in the process. A powerful god has it out for all those like her and will stop at nothing until she's out of the picture.

Hawk and Drina's paths cross which sets the prophecy in motion. Drina's past is more than what she knows. Hawk finds himself unable to carry out Stridor's command to remove her as a complication. Swords, and sparks, fly as they find out exactly what the fates have in mind.
