Brooklyn Stewerd was the kind of girl to be unnoticed. She was barely a shadow in the Westbrook High School crowds, and all too easily pushed around. In reality, she was more than that though. Because she, alone, wrote the "Popularity Scale," scaling the top 100 people in the school on their popularity. And being placed in the Popularity Scale was no longer just an honor. It had become a way of life. But the popularity was slowly ruining the school. Because popularity wasn't all that it was envisioned to be. It was much, much worse. It was changing who people used to be, and maybe more importantly, ruining them. It turned them into shells of a person, lacking personality, and lacking the will or energy to go on. And the source to the problems was the Popularity Scale. But she had vowed to use it to fix their school. She was going to fix them, and the mess she created. Or maybe, just make it worse, and drive some people down a far worse road.

OMG YOU GUYS THIS HAS 1K READS!!!! That may not seem like a big deal to some, but it is for me! I almost screamed when I saw how many people really looked at my book! Thank you guys SO SO much!!! Meet Alex Jones, your average 11th grader. Well, except for the fact that she and her friend Doug were nothing to the world but two wallflowers who kept to themselves. Alex wasn't interested in attention, that was until her friend from Utah, Jessie, sends her a book that guarantees popularity and attention for Alex. Alex decides to give it a try, but at what cost? It didn't take long for Alex's fame in the school halls to build up, and she was fascinated by the world of popularity when the most popular girl in school takes Alex under her wing. However, Alex soon sees the dark side of being popular, and her world comes tumbling down when several events cause her to realize being popular isn't all that great. She had lost friends and her true self because of the sudden need for popularity. Join Alex as she learns the rough side of popularity and a secret about her past self. *Warning! Even though this book doesn't have any strong violence or language, I still don't recommend this book to anyone under 13 since it does have drugs mentioned towards the end of the book.* - Editing currently, to make the story better for you :) - - Also, I am rewriting this book, nothing big wil change, don't worry! -
