The Walking Dead( OC x OC)
Once an accomplished 25 year old ex army SWAT member in the heart of Atlanta, Adaline Monroe was living in the bustling city with her sister Delilah who was a 26 year old starving artist working as a tattoo artist.
Her parents, Jack and Winona Monroe, were still living in her hometown, Macon, when the dead started coming back to eat the living.
On the last day of civilization as we knew it, Adaline was at home watching TV on her day off when an emergency broadcast cut through her channel and every other one, telling people to head to Atlanta for shelter.
Adaline knew that that wouldn't be anywhere near a good idea.
Barely making it out alive, Adaline and Delilah ran for the woods, resorting to everything their ex Green Beret father taught them in order to survive.
They planned to lay low until the city grew quiet before going out to find their parents and those they cared for. But, after 4 days, Delilah grew sick with something neither of them could figure out and it made her feverish and weak to the point that she couldn't walk.
With no choice and nothing else to depend on, Adaline resorted to carrying her older sister on her back day in and day out.
One day in the Georgia summer heat, they hear the screams of children echoing through the trees and Adaline's body moves on its own. After saving the children, the girls were unexpectedly reunited with their family.

He tried to warn her, get her to meet him at his family's farm. But it's been so long.
When the woman he cares for more than he was willing to admit before is brought back into his life, he will do anything to make her see how much he aches for her and keep her safe.
He's willing to piss her off as many times as possible to get it through her head that nothing can happen to her without him losing his damn mind.
He can't lose her. Not again.

I started to do a trail of kisses up to the back of the ear. The tension on her shoulders started to break slowly as I kissed each inch of her skin. I'd been so worried about how she is mentally doing since the death of Lori. She hadn't processed much after the little nugget was birthed. The End Has Come but I'm Still Here
They say the world is over, but I'm still here. If it's the end of days then why are people still alive, maybe the world isn't over perhaps they just have to learn how to survive in this new world. For Lexi Grimes that is a lot easier said than done. Her father was shot a week before the dead began to rise. Now Lexi has to be strong for her little brother Carl and their mother, Lori. Lexi was the one that got her brother and mom packed and ready to leave. While her mom was grabbing family albums and her brother was grabbing comic books, Lexi grabbed her Springfield Sniper, extra ammo, and her silencer. As well as any food that would last a while. She was already pulling out of the driveway to go get her father when Shane came in behind them, driving like a bat out of hell. Shane told them that Rick was dead, and he came to get them to safety, but Lexi didn't want to believe him. Shane had to physically stop Lexi from getting back in their car and driving to the hospital. The only thing that truly stopped her though was the look on her little brother's face, he needed her now more than ever. The world is known to be shit. Ever since human race was born on earth the world has been horrible with murderers, liars, thieves, rapists, cowards and abusers. The only thing that tried to control this was the law and even if this people still existed there was a punishment if caught, so it was mostly under control after all. Until law became nothing. With the start of the outbreak anarchy reigned and this horrible people from being only the 10% or 15% of the whole population, they became more and more everyday, until almost every survivor became all this horrible things to survive. But not everyone was a horrible person or at least tough at the start of this, an example? Dafne Peletier, sister of Ed Peletier and sister in law of Carol Peletier. The girl had been abused her whole life from her father and then from her brother. She taught science in high school and would never hurt a fly, but the apocalypse changes you. That's for sure.
