Fiercely protective, Lucas Friar would get himself into trouble defending those he cares about. One girl in particular was often the one he protected. Madeline is an innocent young girl who sees only the best in the world. Seemingly nothing can take her happiness away, and Lucas made it his mission to make sure that remained the case. After getting expelled, though, he had to move from Texas to New York. A year later, Madeline and their best friend also find themselves moving across the country, reuniting. Join Madeline and her friends, both new and old, as they meet the world.

In which Carrie White has unfortunate luck. Started: 13/05/2024 "And God made Eve to bare the curse, the curse of blood..." Growing up, Carrie hadn't a clue as to what was so funny about her name. Or even her existence. It wasn't till she was about 17, she stumbled across the horror that is 1974 novel by Stephen King, 'Carrie'. It was... Odd. She had a lot of similarities to the character Carrie White. Like... A lot. The same name, same devout Christian upbringing, the whole name calling and bullying thing as well, the innocence. She'd even had the unfortunate first period incident. In a way, she was Carrie. Well, without the telekinesis and psychotic tendencies. Growing up, she was quiet, shy, smart yet clueless. It wasn't till she was 13 that she received her Autism diagnosis. After getting her diagnosis, her mother had always said, "Autistic people can go to university, be doctors, lead fulfilling lives..." which Carrie interpreted to "you have to become a doctor." It wasn't her mother's intention, but, it worked. She went on to go to Harvard Med School and become a surgical intern at Seattle Grace Hospital.
