Karia Carrera has been single for nearly four months after her breakup with Pope Heyward and has moved on. However, Pope still loves her and struggles to let go.

As Karia spends more time with her best friend, JJ Maybank-who is also friends with Pope-they bond over their quest to find hidden gold. One night at a Pogues party, they find themselves alone and intoxicated, leading to unexpected intimacy.
