I still couldn't believe I'd agreed to this. But what choice did I have after my impulsive declaration in school that I was his girlfriend? What was I even thinking?

"Okay, here's rule number one," Sunghoon's voice pulled me out of my spiraling thoughts.

His expression was serious, and the intensity in his eyes made me sit up straighter.

"No falling in love," he said firmly, his tone commanding-as if this rule was the foundation of everything, the one line neither of us could ever cross.
