Amidst a deadly war between Parliament and the radical group known as CAABS, a chemical weapon is introduced. This unstable, previously untested gas has the unintended effect of creating a new plague.
The virus, named Alasoma, only affects Betas and Omegas and within one year has already dwindled the Omega population to critical and unsustainable levels.
Scientists and politicians work steadfastly to find a cure. Only, what happens when the cure has the unintended effect of creating an entirely new designation?
Deltas are born.
A flurry of new questions and a cautious hope arises on the heels of this new revelation.

Calista Avery is one of the few capable of answering these questions as a newly revealed Delta.
As part of government research on Deltas, and further study into Alasoma and it's cure, Avery is forced into a program where she is one of five subjects the government is testing.
Part of that testing means that Avery is assigned a temporary pack with Alphas Gabriel Grimm, Grove Amhurst, and Sebastian Knoll.
But what happens when Calista wants her happily ever after to be something more than 'temporary'?
