Allison, a 17 year old senior in high school was born and raised in Beaufort, South Carolina. Her mother died in a car accident when she was only 3, causing her to grow up with the only other immediate family she has, her "Grams". Her life is uprooted and flipped upside down as her Grams announces that they will be moving to Georgia. Everything feels strange. the sudden move and the feeling she has when she first enters the town of Clarksville, Georgia. Even the Neighborhood, Cedar Grove has an off-putting feel to it.
