Gihun has ended up back in the games with no hope of escaping. He meets up with an old friend, and he meets new people as he tries to navigate the games and come up with a plan to end them. However, how long can Inho control his emotions while face to face with the man that wants him and his games burnt to the ground? Can he keep his feelings secret while not letting them consume him? When is the right time to act, and how can he gain the trust of the other previous winner in this years games?
Basically slightly more focus on Inho and his feelings, as well as emotions and whether or not he can be fixed. It will start as a retelling with more focus on him and his feelings and grow from there. Just- stick with me okay I am lowkey coming up with shit as I write.
I have dyslexia and mild brain damage, so be patient please. I am also a student, and I am busy. I can't tell how fast chapters will come out.

This story is a slowburn that includes some enemies to lovers themes/undertones. The reader is female! ~~~ NOTES/ANNOUNCEMENTS/WARNINGS: When Y/N is in the games, I basically follow everything in Squid Game Season One, but I changed a few quotes and events to better suit this book and the inclusion of Y/N. The only trait I have assigned to Y/N is her player number: 055. You can imagine something else though! It won't be very important later on. Some possible triggers including: recurring PTSD, grief, mental breakdowns, drinking, hangovers, very brief sexual assault, detailed sexual assault, etc. More time-specific warnings will be present with the start of each chapter.
