In the midst of the Second Wizarding War, childhood friends Theodore Nott and Nell Savoy find themselves on opposite sides. Theo, the reluctant son of a Death Eater, struggles with the weight of his father's expectations while secretly doubting his allegiance to Voldemort. Nell, a healer and member of the Order of the Phoenix, fights to save lives and resist the growing darkness. When their paths cross during a dangerous mission, old bonds resurface, forcing them to confront their shared past and the choices that now divide them. As war rages, Theo and Nell must decide whether their connection can withstand the chasm of loyalty-or if it will be their undoing.
