The Confidant

Taron Polk's life was one of little excitement. She attended morning classes at university, met with her patient at Dr. Green's Counseling Clinic, then went home. Everyday. Until a new client came in for counseling, against his will. He was abrasive, witty, drunk, destructive, and filthy rich. His name was Tony Stark.

Taron had many families growing up, but not of them lasted. What happens when she encounters the friendly wit of Tony, the kindness of Pepper, and the loyalty of Rhodey? Taron has secrets she would take to the grave. But as she gets to know those around her she realizes there may be a few people she'd be willing to share the darkest parts of herself with.

Tony didn't want a psychologist. The only reason he was only going because the board at Stark Industries required he attend in order to take his seat on the Stark throne. They claimed he was "too wild" and "unpredictable". He thought being unpredictable was the spice of life. And no therapist would ever get him to talk. He didn't need to, most things are better left buried.

This is an eventual Thorxoc. Tony and Taron's story is one of friendship and found family. NOT romance. Pepperony forever!!
