fragile petals (a short story)

What if you met something beyond your comprehension? A world of which you've never dreamed? Ideals you'd never come close to considering, and overcoming you all at once? How would you fare if you were thrust into a galaxy unknown, impromptu, unprepared yet determined to meet the adversity you are fated to face?

This is the tale of a common worker who has lived an entire lifetime within the working complex and, when the ceiling is ripped out from above and the floor torn out from below, must struggle to meet the rising challenge of a brave new world.
