"You sure you want to be a magician?" ask an old woman to a boy. "yes Granny Ren. I will be the greatest magician of all Melloyern." He said enthusiastically as the Granny softly caress his small and smooth hand. The boy then ran to his friends as one of them calling him to play football. The Granny look at the boy silently with a solemn smile. Her eye narrow in a soft and gentle gaze she give to the kids that was playing at her yard. "He will be." she said before stand and walk to a well. The boy were born as a normal human. There is no easy way for him to be a magician. he has no mana in him. Or that's what everyone expect from him. Writer: "Hey, that's enough reminiscing about your past. it's the story description section. Not the story yet!" Nakajima: "Fine. I will start with the description." Writer: " good. get back to work." 13 Land Under Holy Crystal Blessing, as the name suggest, It was about a holy crystal that blessed a land. like a mainland or somesort. So... Writer: "is that really the right way to make a description?" Nakajima: *sigh* There is a mainland with 13 state under a flag named Melloyern. These all 13 state have it's very own holy crystal that bless the state individually. But, the crystal contains powerful amount of mana that makes every single person in Melloyern going for it. A group of magician called Denials were up to collect all of the crystal to keep them safe from wrong hands. There is a lot of hindrance in their path such as the Kingdom of Melloyern itself is turning against these guys. Still there are more. Can they survive? it's up to them to decide. Can they achieve what they aim for? It's always up to them to decide their own future. Nakajima: "Satisfied?" Writer: *Claps his hands many time* "Very much." Nakajima: " Can I keep daydreaming?" His mind being transported away. --- So distantly far away there is a race that advanced to the point where they built dyson spheres to house their civilizations. In their continual expansion, they seeded galaxies with pods and connection satellites. Over time they upgraded their dyson spheres into matryoshka brain Cores. Imagine a computer powered by a star. Citizens of Cores no longer age once they upload their minds into the virtual living system of the Core. While they didn't age, most still choose to cycle through life and death though at a different scale of time compared to our lives. Citizens can visit other planets and live there as if they were on a "vacation". Mercury is Earth's hub connected to the closest Core and Earth is a remote vacation spot for wealthy citizens. When the main character was 10 he witnessed a citizen returning to the Core. The story continues 10 odd years later when he again witnesses a similar situation unfolding and manages to touch the person returning to the Core. This causes him to be swept up in the transfer as well and for his mind to join as a "Guest" user of the Core. As a Guest he has limited powers, a starting balance of zero cr or Citizen credits, and no idea how he can get home. He is the first human to ever become a Guest of a Core. My life was supposed to be normal. You're born, raised by good parents, go to school, make friends, graduate, get a job. You create fun memories, find the love of your life, get married, start a family, grow old, and eventually, you breathe your last. That's what life was supposed to be like for me. But instead, my life turned out to be the opposite of normal. And so it was for Chiara, Blake, Jake, Rowan, Nova, and Dijon. To tell our story, we need to go all the way back to the beginning. Before we were even born. It all started 30 years ago. April 5, 2003. a class got into an accident and when the survivors woke up, they realized something was wrong. they got powers , they got taken by scientist who started calling them the hollows. It took almost a month before they were rescued by Mr. Knight, they got taken to a secret place where they could live peacefully. that's a lie, one of the students wanted revenge and not stay hidden, so the group seperated. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.
