Orm's tears flowed freely now, the weight of everything crashing down on her. Her emotions were a chaotic whirlwind-anger, disbelief, sadness, all mixing together in a torrent she couldn't control. "Papa, I can marry anyone... but not her," she cried, her voice breaking with each word. "I don't love her, and she doesn't love me!"

Her father looked at her with a mixture of guilt and helplessness, but his expression didn't change. "This is enough, Orm," he said, his voice cold, his patience spent. "Go back to your room."

On the other hand, Ling sat calmly, her face unreadable. "Don't you think you've gone too far, Ling?" her mother asked softly, running her fingers through her daughter's hair, trying to offer some comfort.

Ling's eyes were cold, her voice a sharp contrast to her mother's warmth. "Mom, a woman like that deserves it," she replied, her tone icy as she pulled away from her mother's touch. "You can treat her like that... because that's all she is. A contract." Her voice trembled slightly as she spoke, but she quickly masked it with coldness.
