Ever since Dylan's mother left him and his father, he learned not to take the women around him seriously. He became someone who played with their emotions, believing that love between lovers would never last forever. To him, every promise would eventually be broken, and every love would disappear like a fleeting shadow.

When they returned to their province and decided to live with his grandparents, he never expected to meet someone who would make his heart beat again. In an instant, he found himself wanting to protect her, shield her from her chaotic world, heal her wounds, and, above all, be the reason for her smile every single day.
