Mallory Graham still struggles daily with a battle she never dares to speak about. She puts on a fake smile, forcing down the pain, and pretending for her family and friends.

Cole McCan doesn't have much faith in his future. He's an amazing hockey player, and he's been told by many coaches and scouts that he has more potential than Crosby himself. But, one thing ties him down. Family.

However, it's kind of hard to deny the scholarship he received to St. Mary's. It's the best high school in Boston, with an even better hockey team. That means he can get noticed. He can make it to college on a scholarship, and his future can only skyrocket from there.

When he accepted that scholarship though, he never expected to meet the love of his life, and definitely not a way out of the horrible truth he's been facing for so long.
