Au fil de sa vie, il avait laissé la maladie prendre du terrain. Parce qu'après tout, quand l'espoir est vain, à quoi bon rester ? Mais parfois la mort elle-même refuse de nous accueillir parce qu'elle-même sait. Elle sait que cette vie qu'elle veut prendre vaut la peine d'être vécue...
Prologue :
Louis, 17 ans est Hospitalisé depuis 1 ans dans un centre psychiatrique pour enfant est jeunes adulte. Atteint de trouble du comportement alimentaire, d'angoisse et de toc depuis longtemps, celui si a été envoyé la bas par sa famille d'accueil ayant perdu ces parents dans un tragique accident. Sa Famille d'accueil est peu présente et ne vient plus le voir, un autre abandon, voila ce que Louis subissait. Depuis ce jour, ce centre représente pour lui son seule lieu de vie mais aussi son calvaire.
Cependant dans toutes ces souffrances un nouveau médecin va venir tout chambouler, tout.. Entre amour et sentiments..
Walker Miller, riche médecin de 30 ans vivant seule décide de s'installer en bord de mer dans sa ville de vacance natale. Son bute fuir la douleur de sa mort... Il décide de prendre un poste dans un hôpital psychiatrique pour mineur et jeune adulte afin d'aider cette jeune population en détresse.
