Empress ||Bucky Barnes||
He was trying to make peace with his past. So was she. James Barnes and Anastasia Morozov were similar in many ways, and possibly the only people on the planet who understood each other. Both having a past with HYDRA and experiments, being used and brainwashed and broken. It was no real surprise that they first met on the battlefield in Wakanda, or that the first time they spoke was after she broke into his apartment to avoid knocking on the door. They were friends by the time they joined the fight against the Flag Smashers, but it's hard to tell in between the fighting if they can become more. Especially since Sam won't seem to leave them alone. Three is, after all, a crowd. ||Bucky fan-fic|| ||TFATWS|| ||mature themes||Complete
