Where shadow is a magical being and was taken on as a knight, and falls for his king. But, it just can't happen.

Leaving green hill kingdom, sonic was searching for something exciting and magical, but also for protection. Stumbling upon an auction as he walked through the market, his eyes fell onto a cage that had a magical being inside. Was this was sonic was looking for? He got intrigued upon looking at its dark fur, with red highlights, and most impressing, its red glowing eyes. He kept staring at it and saw the old and odd armor as it looked from a previous and mostly recent battle, it had been chained by the wrists and was kneeling with its head lowered. This was Intriguing him more. He snapped out of his curiosity as the auctioneer explained, "it's a strong being, stronger than an army, good for protection, has magic beyond imagination, and most importantly loyal when forced." Sonic felt guilty for the other hedgehog, at least that's what he could tell it was from the distance he was at. He decided, why not? He needed protection and something interesting, his servants, (who he called family and friends.) could only provide so much. So, why couldn't he indulge in having a new friend and knight?

(This is a part in the story, but it's changed seeing as this is just a quick show of what it has to offer, so please don't get confused!!)
