"Set fire to the rain." The world burns slowly, many sit and watch, many try to change its near future. Although, no matter how many attempts are made, it seems as if we're moving backwards. Who knew the world would turn to war. Who knew a mere girl from a low class village, could wreak havoc on an unbreakable kingdom. Like a sword, I'll cut my way to the top. (Map of Aikutia coming soon) (Inspired by The Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard one of my favorite writers! Also feel free to leave suggestions on how the story should go. Enjoy!)

Amara has been subjected to a life of pain. First, the death of her mother and only surviving family, and then becoming trapped with an abusive, alcoholic husband. She finally manages to escape, falling into a world of magic and adventure that she never knew existed. Will she embrace her destiny and fight for her new life, or will everything be taken away from her once more? "After what seems like hours, the ships dock on our shores, and I spur Ormr into a dive. As men rush the shores, we coast above the ships, letting them see us for the first time. Many men freeze in their steps, while others attempt to ignore us, and continue charging. Once we're low enough, I whisper to Ormr, "Burn it all, girl," and flames pour from her mouth, devouring the ships below us. Let's see them leave now." ------------------------------ This is my first story, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating these characters. #Strongwomenawards2020
