<<[COVER ART BELONGS TO JAMES DIETZ]>> (check him out ❤️) <<[IM A ROOKIE AUTHOR TRYING TO GAIN EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH ME]>> They came from nowhere, and suddenly Germany fell into disarray. We thought that it was a coup. 'Maybe the Russains had overthrown the German government with sleeper agents.' We joked as we got the news. For 3 months, the news coming out of Germany got worse.. and worse, the German president and chancellor, both killed by rebel groups, then.. Nothing, no news, this went on for about 2 months. when a combined American, British, and dutch task force (Codename Deutschland's Light) tried entering Germany, they were met with heavly fortified Checkpoints, refusing entry of the task force, that's when alarms started going off in High Commands head. The 10th Mountain Division was fully deployed to Italy, with orders to dig in and coordinate with fellow Italian Mountain Divisions. The tension was thick. No one knew why we were here, why we were sitting on frozen mountain tops. Around 2 weeks after deployment, everything hit the fan, France suffered mass riots incited by popular individuals relating to the 2019 workers riots(Fictional). Poland was suddenly stuck from its western border. Article 5 was invoked. Task Force Deutschland's light was renamed to Operation Vineyard. Most of the central and Western Europe. We've held the line for a couple of weeks, but I don't think we can hold the alpine line for much longer.. God bless us, as We, the Mountain Division, hold fast against the Hail

Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. (This is my first story, and the art seen does not belong to me.) (Book 1 of War series)
