[TCF/LCF FANFIC]
Cale ran a frustrated hand through his fiery red hair, a weary sigh escaping his lips as he glared at the table cluttered with a chaotic assortment of papers.
"Unbelievable," he muttered under his breath, his voice dripping with exasperation. His gaze fell upon a particular document, the name glaring back at him like a cruel joke. Alberu Crossman-son of the multinational Crossman conglomerate.
"Haa... It's not like I didn't expect it," Cale grumbled, "but seriously? A company that produces movie scripts and trains actors?"
The absurdity of it all gnawed at him, but what grated on his nerves even more was the revelation that many of his former companions were here-and most of them were... actors?
Pinching the bridge of his nose, Cale's thoughts spiraled into a storm of irritation. 'That damned God,' he hissed, recalling the divine entity who had saddled him with this infuriating task. 'Find the Hunter, he said. Why the hell do I have to build connections in this absurd world?'
His gaze darkened as it flickered to the book resting innocently on the table-a cursed thing bestowed upon him by the same mischievous deity. Its contents mocked him with their cryptic guidance, a labyrinth of clues he had no patience to unravel.
"Why am I even stuck with this nonsense?" His anger boiled over, and with a sharp motion, Cale slammed the poor book onto the floor. The once-pristine pages seemed to quiver in protest, but he paid it no heed.
"Damn it all!" he growled, his voice echoing through the room, carrying a mix of helpless frustration and fiery determination.

[COMPLETED] Everything around him was blurry. His body aching painfully despite the common fact that his ancient power should've healed his wounds by now. Cale couldn't even utter a low whine when he felt his wrist burn at the painful friction of the rope that was tying him. "Cale." The redhead looked at the source of the voice, a blurry shade of red moving in front of him. There was then a lamp that was settled beside him, Cale blinks to see the White Star fully in front of him and his guard raised at the maximum in case on what he plans on doing. "Eat." There was then a piece of meat that met against Cale's bleeding lips. The disgusting stench of blood penetrating his nose as he weakly glared at the man. White Star smirked, "Go on, eat. You'll get stronger." Cale's eyes blown wide when he saw the meat that the White Star was trying to feed him. It looks like a charred one that was burnt from cooking, if you ignore how blood still seeps from one of the tendons. "....!" The White Star then forced his mouth open, easily clenching Cale's jaw as he stuffed the black meat inside his mouth. Tears pooled at the side of Cale's reddish-brown eyes as he tried to spit out the meat. He can't, for the love of God, he just can't. "Listen to my pleads, my dear child. Eat." 'No...'
