No one's health is linked, but everyone is assigned one of three roles: Alpha, beta, or omega. These roles come with slight physical changes, new and sometimes surprising instincts, and the urge to form teams of three consisting of one of each role. Everyone must learn to navigate the changes brought by these roles, finding their teams and just trying to survive, all while dealing with an exceptionally cold map and whatever feelings may remain after their previous games together.
