For the past decade the Earth has been in turmoil between good and evil. Despite numerous attempts to stop them, the Marauders (Mister Sinister's new group of villains) have managed to hold their ground. Even the recent laborious battle left Earth's heroes almost completely broken.

Needing a place to recover and reconvene after the heroes' old base was destroyed, the Valdez family steps up, offering their safe house without a second thought. But their kindness is quickly discovered by the Marauders.

They are forced to make a decision: give up the heroes' location or die protecting them.
But with every choice, inescapable consequences follow. Ones that might change the world entirely.
