It's been a few years since their last fight, and a lot had happened within that time. Shadow was now living with the others in their house as well with the poorly attempted 'convincing' of Tom to take him in by sonic that was more accepted because Tom wanted shadow to live somewhere 'safe' than sonic being convincing. With that, the bond between Sonic, Shadow, Tails, and Knuckles, all though a little confusing, was a strong one. Things were starting to go well for them.
With egg man gone and no one else currently trying to cause any mischief, sonic and the others were left with time to actually try to settle down and live a normal life like most other people, all though the 4 would never would be 'normal' and they knew that. The hedgehogs decided to try education and did online school for a few years and this year sonic and shadow decided to start college as they are old enough now and have the qualifications (even if sonic did cheat a bit...) what will happen to the two as they enter a new environment with new experiences for them?
