In a world ravaged by a relentless virus that mutates human genetics and claims countless lives, science is humanity's last hope-and its greatest danger. Aristi Vaughn, a brilliant young scientist driven by the loss of her parents and the desperate fight to save her sister, is recruited by Boundless CSLab, a cutting-edge research organization in the heart of Critabourne. Tasked with finding a cure, Aristi teams up with two other gifted scientists, Elmeretti Brightley and Alumetri Romanova, each carrying their own burdens and secrets.

As the team delves deeper into their research, they uncover unsettling truths about the virus's origins and the experiments that brought them to this point. The lab's board of directors, led by the enigmatic Dr. Evander Kross, has their own agenda-one that could tip the balance between saving humanity and controlling it.

Caught between their moral compass and the weight of progress, Aristi and her team must navigate betrayal, sacrifice, and the haunting memories of their pasts. In a race against time, they face the ultimate question: How far are they willing to go to save the world?

"They took my sister. Now I'm taking her back." Seventeen years ago, humans started developing supernatural abilities. Comic books came true as the first person flew, created fire, mind-read. The world entered a new age where people who could do special things were revered and admired. That all changed when one man lost control of his power and unleashed a huge explosion in a crowded shopping centre, killing over a thousand others. A series of fights involving superhumans broke out, resulting in the destruction of multiple cities and hundreds upon hundreds of further lives lost. The government began hunting down those extraordinary people with the assistance of a specialised unit: trained in recognising different abilities. Suddenly powers became something scary, uncontrollable and dangerous, that nobody wanted to own up to having. Seventeen years after the Explosion, Amelie Rose Carmichael is the daughter of the man who is in charge of hunting down and imprisoning these people. She enjoys a comfortable life, protected from any threats against her. But when Amelie develops an ability without warning, she must try to keep it hidden from her family, her friends, and above all her father. Can she keep a secret? Will she use her powers to help the rebel organisation that has approached her? And what secrets are the people around her hiding? Sanctuary

28 parts Complete

Sanctuary. That was what the quarantine dome was supposed to be, a place of refuge from the N-Gel and the deadly Neoplague they unleashed on the world. But we aren't safe here. Senna is uprooted from her rural life in the outer dome when her mother agrees to marry the President of Sanctuary. It was supposed to be a Cinderella story, but Senna can't stand the health and status obsessed city. Her only escape comes from repairing an antique piece of wireless tech, an endeavor that is seemingly hopeless due to the interference that reduced such tech useless after the invasion. Senna believes that if she can get the device to work, she can use it to contact the life she left behind. However, it isn't her old life she reaches when she gets the device to power on. Instead she catches the SOS of a little girl who claims to be held captive in the toxic world outside of the dome. The girl offers a reward for her rescue-the cure for the plague that forced humanity into quarantine and took Senna's father from her.
