Sleep in its essence is a long period of natural inactivity. Such a loss of utility Sleeping, why do we accept this? If only we could get past this hindrance this nuisance. Or perhaps we could use the time within. A person who is sleeping doesn't realize that much time is passing. The brain isn't conscious enough to collect the unnecessary outside information ,as a consequence time is dilated and is not perceived in the same way as it is when one is awake, but what if you did perceive time the same way. For the almost 8 hours that a person sleeps They would experience a dream of that exact length. With so much extra time free to use whilst the body rests the obvious question arises when does the mind rest? Will cross that bridge when we come to it. Although how would you cope with such a new birth in perception? Would you be able to maintain your sanity with limitless possibilities? It sounds exciting, but many problems have yet to be solved. The timeline and concept of most dreams aren't linear, the only exception being lucid dreaming. How might the mind react or even begin to perceive a never ending stream of consciousness. A dream that had no end in sight? What would You do; become a hero or a villain ,relax on a beach, or grovel before the overwhelming endless torment that comes with the end power perception and mortality. What if you had no control, no escape, and no one to help you. What if you were trapped? Would you lose yourself? Would you be able to keep a grasp of yourself long enough to escape? A prison of your own making torture constructed from your own hubris, such pain as a result of nothing less of pure arrogance. The belief that one can over step such boundaries without consequences. A fool such is that of humanity. All Rights Reserved
