Sugarcoat

"What's wrong with a little bit of sugar coating?" he says as he leans on the wall, A smirk on his face and a mischievous glint in his eyes .

I grumble in response, "It distracts from the truth, it delusions, hurts, and even so as a white lie it is still a lie." I state firmly, unrelenting.

The smirk does not fade but his eyes soften just a bit that I almost did not notice it.

"Whatever you say, beautiful." he says, the sound of him tapping of his feet bouncing off the walls. I lightly scoff, turning my back to him and walking away.
