The Torn

Brian Smith had a decent life. Not too good, not too bad. He had his own issues though. He had thought of several ways to hurt people, the logistics of different actions that never ended well. He knew how to toy with people, and this always concerned him, because from various TV shows, movies, and other media, he learned that it was a bad thing. He struggled with his revelation this whole life, but never did anything with it.

But then he got hurt. He was lied to for the final time. It had been a very long, very hard year, and his last semblance of hope went down the drain with one lie. One tiny fib. And he was done. He was tired of being hurt. So... why not lean into his thoughts? His urges? Who is to say he can't? Afterall, he had kept his twisted thoughts to himself for years now. But now?

Now, the only people who would ever know his true self, would be those who wound up playing out one of his twisted fantasies. And he would enjoy every minute of it.
