This poem reflects my quiet feelings for someone special, caught between hope and uncertainty. It expresses the joy I feel in their presence and the longing I carry in silence. Through simple, heartfelt words, I share the vulnerability of loving someone without knowing if they feel the same way.

"And with one little touch, everything came crashing down..." ▪︎▪︎▪︎ Life changes. And most times for the best, but for Quince Delco? Definitely for the worse. When a simple shift at work turned deadly leads to her becoming an overnight sensation, Quince doesn't know how to react. Afterall, surviving a shooting at the infamous Marina Restaurant and saving the owner's daughter all in one night isn't something she'd ever think she'd put on her resume. Yet, there she was: a hero to the eyes of so many, but even heroes have their own secrets. Things are difficult to keep buried in Kingston and Quince will have to learn that the hard way when the notorious Caleb Gonzalez comes knocking at her door with his nephew, Mateo Dela Cruz, and - at their heels - a curious reporter looking for answers. For Quince, it's a matter of differentiating allies from foes, but the line between the two is so frustratingly thin.
