Kazumi's parents died when she was still a baby and so she was adopted by the befriended Hado family. In contrast to Nejire, Kazumi was and is a very quiet, reserved girl. From an early age, she was always fascinated by all kinds of quirks and wanted to learn everything about them. Nejire always helped her with this. When Kazumi awakened her quirk, she was taken under the wing of a friend of her late parents, who taught her everything she needed to know. She is an intelligent and inquisitive girl.
