She paused as the sound of squelching was heard, like something mushy and wet was being pushed around.
"What the hell.." Miller whispered as he walked past Clarke to the source of the sound, and he paused shortly. His eyes were wide, and the urge to puke was strong.
He swallowed thickly. "Oh god."
Clarke approached him, stopping behind him. Familiar eyes stared back at her, lifeless yet haunting.
In front of them was one of the infected, the infected man was someone Clarke knew, it was Mr. Green, Monty's dad, and the lifeless person that laid beneath Mr. Green, as he ate away at their insides, was none other than Mrs. Green, Monty's mom.
Mr. Green had ripped open her stomach, eating at her intestines, blood covered the lower half of his face, as his hands were covered in sickly wet blood.
Miller couldn't hold back anymore. He turned around and rushed over to a container.
The sound of puking is what caught Mr. Green's attention, and Clarke raised her gun. Her grip was tight, and she clenched her jaw, her finger on the trigger.
A gunshot rang out before a thud followed. Mr. Green was dead, lying down next to his dead wife.

Excerpt:
I looked up and stared. My reflection looked back at me in the mirror of the dark room. My eyes were literally glowing, there was no mistaking it. It was not a reflection of light, or any of the other excuses I had used or others had assumed. They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow.
Glowing eyes were not normal.
Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal.
What was I then? For that, I had no answer
