When the zombie apocalypse breaks out Florencia was home alone and was unsure of what to do, since she was only 16 and wasn't allowed to drive, and simply couldn't. She was forced to stay home. On the other hand, Ethan was out on vacation in Florencia's country and when the zombie apocalypse broke out, he was outside with his parents. His parents got caught by the zombie's and told Ethan to run and find safety, so he did. But as he was running a frantic car hit him, and he was left knocked unconscious on the street, Florencia her street. The frightened girl had watched chaos erupt out of her bedroom window. And she also saw Ethan getting hit by a car, unsure of what to do she decides to go out and help him off of the street. Risking her own life.
