Stacey: Graduated a year early from Hawkins High School with a scholar ship and ready to explore the halls of Perdue University however it is summer in Hawkins and Stacey is working part time at Melvads still- and Dustin is away at Science camp- Things have been oddly "normal" since last years events with closing the gate- You can't help but shake that icky feeling that worst things are coming in Hawkins while your feelings for Steve continue to grow even stronger.
you think you're finally okay with this idea. you've settled things with jonathan, nancy is now your friend, and steve harrington calls you angel.
then dustin intercepts a secret russian code and your grand plans of you and robin teasing steve all summer, and maybe even falling in love, all come crashing down.
(meanwhile all steve wants to do is ask you out).
(but the russians complicate things).

Moving into the small town of Hawkins during her sophomore year of high school wasn't a treat, but she didn't let it ruin her spirits too much. In fact, she even made some new friends along the way. Granted, most of them were in middle school and were major nerds, but that didn't bother her. She even joined in on some of their DnD campaigns whenever they invited her. It was fun, that was until one of the kids, Will, went missing. Along the way to finding him, (Y/N) befriends some people from her own school, including the goody-two-shoes Nancy Wheeler, and her boyfriend, Steve "The Hair" Harrington. She never really understood why everyone was obsessed with Steve. Or was everyone obsessed with his hair? She never knew. He could be a real asshole sometimes, too. But for whatever reason, she finds herself becoming closer with him the more they hang out. Maybe the king himself wasn't all too bad. - I've rewritten this book as I didn't like the plot all too much! You can find it on my profile titled "Waiting For A Girl Like You". Making friends was the least of your worries when you get ripped into several interesting babysitting gigs that get you into more trouble than you signed up for.
