Sample translation; Bara det som binder oss samman (Only the ties that bind us)

This is a sample from the book that my SIL and her friend are currently writing. They have asked me for help to translate the story from Swedish to English. This is an original story born from them, so they want feedback and to know if the story is readable. please let me know if you guys like the premise and if I should accept the challenge of another translation. // LC.

Alecs Renton, the true heir to The Reach Association, is born with the Reece family's rare gift of Total Recall, allowing him to remember every detail of his life. His stubbornness to keep his twin brother, Adrien, by his side leads to years of abuse under their cruel grandfather, Joshua Reece, and The Reach's enforcer, Kyle Saunders. After a failed escape attempt, Alecs is presumed dead, while Adrien is forced to take on his brother's identity.

Years later, after Kyle massacres the Pryer gang for betraying The Reach, he mistakenly believes Adrien is the traitor he saw fleeing the scene. But when he confronts the twin, he realizes much to his anger that what Adrien has been hiding from him all these years is a much worse betrayal than simply siphening out his goods
- Alecs is alive.

Now, Kyle shifts his focus to reclaim Alecs and decides to break Adrien even further for his betrayal. using him as leverage in the power struggle to control The Reach.

As their secrets unravel and their loyalties are tested, the twins must navigate a deadly world of manipulation, betrayal, and power, where survival means trusting no one- but can they really trust each other after all these years apart?
