Set in 2002, Dylan L. Snelling's writing debut "The False Paradise" tells the story of a news journalist from Boston named Matthew Heathers, who is one day sent on a mission down to the coastline of Miami, to investigate a sinister island that has mysteriously appeared out in the waters. Whilst writing the story, author Dylan L. Snelling got the idea for the island-disguised sea monster that serves as the stories central antagonist, at least partially after being inspired by the monsters created by the legendary sci-fi horror author H.P. Lovecraft. *Note: Version of the book sold in ebook stores includes a section for legal copyright information and a works cited section. Ebook ISBN: 979-8-234-02315-5

When the girls discover a cryptic message carved into the sand-"THE LIGHTHOUSE KNOWS"-they are pulled into an unsolved mystery tied to Avenmoor Island's old lighthouse, which has been abandoned since a brutal storm ten years ago. As they explore the island, they uncover hidden messages, coded symbols, and evidence that someone-or something-is leading them deeper into a web of secrets involving: • A lost treasure ship that wrecked off the island's coast, • A secret society that once protected the lighthouse's true purpose, • And a strange power source hidden beneath the lighthouse, linked to ancient nautical legends. The girls follow a trail of clues-each one riskier than the last-while being watched by someone who doesn't want the truth revealed. In the final chapters, they'll uncover the shocking truth about the lighthouse, the storm, and a decision that could change the future of the entire island.
