Most girls at seventeen would be worrying about boys, appearances, and popularity but for assassin Ashlynn Alysson, staying alive is her biggest problem. Having been sent to a small, isolated town for a mission, she doesn't expect much to happen. Cleaning up after an exposed secret is probably the most exciting thing that will happen to her in the entirety of her stay at Ashwick Valley. But of course, life is never dull and boring for an assassin. Ashe will learn that soon enough through a series of unfortunate events that will lead to revelation, love, and a hell lot of questions.
