Riley Melanchthon thought she knew everything she needed to know about the gifted. The gifted didn’t take her as their own because she had yet to show them her power. With her few friends, she tried to cope where she no longer felt she belonged. Furthermore, a demonic virus is spreading around the Academy and each student has been assigned a guardian to protect them. Riley was anxious to find out more about the virus.  However one of the disturbing problems she seemed to face every day was the insulting criticisms Hadrian Delano, her guardian, would throw at her.

With the fiery spit shared between the two, would feelings develop or chaos?
